Meltzer Woods Guided Hike (And bonus one room schoolhouse visit!)

Join Summit on our last outdoor adventure of the fall semester!

We will take a professionally guided (crisp and chilly?) hike through the historic Meltzer Woods, followed by a bonus stop and short lesson at the little one room schoolhouse on the property. 

The guided hike is about one mile of fairly easy walking through one of Indiana's last remaining, old-growth forests. Here you'll find trees dating back more than 150 years! (some dating back to the 1600's)
